Contact

The Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority (BGPA) maintains and manages the Place of Reflection and takes bookings for the Marlee Pavilion.

Marketing and other awareness-raising activities are handled by the Place of Reflection Consortium, a group of volunteer organisations that meets a number of times throughout the year.

Because the Place of Reflection Consortium has no dedicated staff, all enquiries are directed in the first instance to the BGPA. If required, they are then directed on to appropriate Consortium members.

The following is a guide to the current contact arrangements:

General enquiries

If there are any general questions about the Place of Reflection that are not answered by this website, they should be directed to the following BGPA email address: enquiries@bgpa.wa.gov.au.

Marlee Pavilion bookings

These are handled by the BGPA Bookings Officers, who are able to provide information on the availability and appropriate use of this venue. Please see the Bookings section of this website for further contact details.

Marketing and communications

Organisations wishing to obtain further copies of Place of Reflection promotional materials, or anyone wanting to discuss awareness-raising activities should make contact via the BGPA enquiries email: enquiries@bgpa.wa.gov.au. BGPA staff will direct these enquiries onto appropriate Consortium members for a response.

"I really like the words on the path as well as the words on the bench. If you have come through a time of grieving, you do at times feel very alone – particularly if you have experienced the loss of a life partner. The words on the bench ‘You are not alone’ were particularly meaningful to me."
