Bookings
Who needs to book?
The Place of Reflection can be visited any day of the week, without any need to book. The only space within the Place of Reflection that requires booking is the Marlee Pavilion which provides a covered space for larger gatherings and organised events.
The Place of Reflection is large enough for a number of individuals and small groups to use the site at the same time and still maintain privacy. However, you can also contact the Bookings Officers at Kings Park to check if any events have been booked in the Marlee Pavilion during the time you are planning to visit, in case you are worried about noise or too much activity disturbing your time there.
Making a booking
Exclusive use of the Marlee Pavilion (for up to two hours) must be organised through the Bookings Officers at Kings Park. The Bookings Officers will let you know about times during the year that the Marlee Pavilion can’t be booked (such as when major events are on at Kings Park, including the Kings Park Festival throughout the whole of September).

Conditions of use
Because the natural environment at Kings Park needs to be protected and respected, there are particular conditions attached to using the Place of Reflection. These are designed to ensure that natural flora and fauna are not damaged or contaminated by material brought into the park.
More information on these conditions of use can be found on the Kings Park website.
